Yoga for Self Care

Mon: 5:30-6:30pm

 

This practice is a way to process stress and nourish yourself. Redefine “me time” and support your mind, body, and heart in this time-efficient, well-rounded practice. You can expect strength and mobility work to create stabilization and flexibility, core activation to counteract the effects of poor posture, breath-work to calm your mind, twists to eliminate what no longer serves you and relaxation to restore your nervous system and create harmony in mind-body connection. Leave feeling recharged, balanced, and empowered to take on the week ahead. ​

Afternoon Yin Reset

Tues: 12:00-1:00pm

 

Come cool off during the heat of the day. This class will help you regulate your body temperature through yin yoga poses. Yin yoga poses are held for 3-5minutes and are designed to help liberate deep tension in the body. These postures are naturally cooling and rejuvenating for both body and mind.

Healthy Kula Yoga

Tues: 6:00-7:30pm

 

Kula' means community, and this class offers just that, an opportunity to belong and connect with others who are health-oriented. This class is open to all, whether you're new to yoga or mindful of your budget. Join us for just $15 per class to nurture your wellbeing through an empowering and balanced yoga class.

Yoga in the Park

Experience the serenity of an outdoor yoga class at Truckee River Regional Park. Join Marybeth Donahoe for rejuvenating  yoga sessions amidst the captivating beauty of the Truckee River.

Bring a mat, wear comfortable clothing, and be prepared to immerse yourself in the healing power of nature. Reminder that it is cooler in the evening and a warm layer is recommended for the end of class.

Outdoor Yoga

Thurs: 8:00-9:00am

 

Begin your day with outdoor yoga at the park. Move, breath and flow next to the soothing waters of Lake Tahoe near the Gatekeeper’s Museum at William B. Layton Park, 130 W. Lake Blvd. This all-levels class will include dynamic and fluid movements to increase strength and mobility , as well as, some static postures to aid in muscle recovery and increase flexibility. After class, take a short walk to the Tahoe City Farmer’s Market to enjoy a wide variety of farmers and vendors. Bring a yoga mat, water bottle and sun protection.

Sunset Yoga

Find inner peace and connection amidst the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe in a sunset yoga class led by Marybeth Donahoe. With her expert guidance, immerse yourself in a rejuvenating yoga practice against the picturesque backdrop of Tahoe Vista. Let the vibrancy of the setting sun warm your heart and nourish your soul. All levels welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat or towel.

Yoga on the Beach

Start your Saturday morning with gentle yoga and soaking in the California sunshine on Chamber's Landing Beach.  Breath in the fresh breeze while you are led through a healing and inspiring yoga practice.  Marybeth will guide you to connect with yourself while surrounded by gorgeous Lake Tahoe.  All levels are welcome. Cost: $10
